LIGHT-WASHED

Washed by the blood of the lamb
Washed in the River Of Life
Washed in the mercy and love of God
Washed in His glorious light

The heavens and the angels and the earth they testify
The Spirit, blood and water sanctify me
The heavens and the angels and the earth they testify
The Father, Son and Spirit sanctify me

From your throne high above, I know I am watched
I am purged by Your love, I am light washed...
... In Your light wash
I am light washed...
... In Your light wash

Holy is the precious blood and life of Christ...
Holy is the Spirit that poured out His life...

THE LAW OF THE LIGHTS

The promised stars are named and look from earth
To heaven and see what the spheres are displaying
In darkness the sky revealed the calendars birth
So behold the moon and what it is saying

It has a glory that shines upon on it which we receive
But it mirrors something future that echoes it’s light
This sphere of darkness and coldness conceives
A message of future glory into the night

Don’t worship the moon and how at night it shines
In this darkness we’re in, in it’s light, just abide
For it’s not the moon that gives a light so divine
But a sphere that will come where nothing can hide

Enjoy in this time what the moon does in this season
Providing light in darkness and altering the tide
It’s existence has a purpose and a sacred reason
Providing future light to this present to guide

This relational covenant is only with the night
There will be a time coming where it wont be needed
Await the intervention of dawn’s glorious light
Where the promise of the sun will supersede it

THE GREAT EXCHANGE

How we the Jews and gentiles laid our unclean hands
Upon the one who knew no sin
Not fully knowing or having the ability to understand
That the sacrificial Lamb was Him

He came to earth clothed in humility
Knowing what he was going to become
On the cross he was rejected by humanity
And from the Godhead itself, God’s only Son

He took the full grunt of humanities identity
And became the very name and being we were
Possessed by the sin of our profanity and insanity
He took on our sinful nature, but held sufferingly pure

He took on the Law and it’s ordinances there
He became our lust and took on our pride
He became condemnation, the curse and the snare
And finally death where he hung there and died

All this so we could be given His name
And be given His nature and image as well
To reconcile man back to God’s glory and fame
So we can boast in the things He does in the world

What other God has done such a feat
Where He became nothing so to Him we can gain
His glorious riches where in Him we’re complete
Where we can abide in His sovereign reign

He is our gardener, our High Priest and King
He came as perfect sacrifice so we may be
Made one in Him so our praises can bring
His testimony to man and of His future glory

He became all things to men so man has no excuse
He has proven to man His faithfulness
His grace freely give; through the Son we’re produced
To the Father, His eternal righteousness

HEADS AND TAILS

How many times in church has it been said
That “We shouldn’t be the tail but the head”?
Have you ever considered that all along
This kind of paradigm could be wrong?

It’s true God plainly had said to Israel
That they’ll be the head and not the tail
But do you remember who they were?
They were slaves, hard working laborers

God always takes the worst and makes instead
Those that are the tail and into the head
And how often we turn this quote into a farce?
“The last shall be first and the first shall be last”.

Don’t TRY to be last and don’t TRY to be first
That’s simply religious; being bound and cursed
Simply know the truth that a criminal died
Who carried your sin personified

This man who was head, chose to become the tail
His actions speak once again through His travail
Let Him silence our nonsense and the games that we play
For better or for worse, chuck the works away

If some are heads and tails you have to say
Is the game ‘Snakes and Ladder’s’ what humanity plays
The one who gets closer to the hundredth square
Is the one who falls the furthest from there

Is this all chance as the riddle may seem
That some never come first in their dreams?
Just step back and look at the absurdity
When we strive real hard, rather than simply be

That’s why He came and hung with those at the bottom
Everyone’s so self absorbed they’ve completely forgotten
The state of themselves, the lowly and poor
These are things man cannot ignore

And this is what God wants to address
Not the desires of man that live to impress
Those are the rags Jesus spoke badly of
While through His hands He showed love

We think we’re more godly when we try to be first
But God IS our best and GOD is our worst
He’s thrown all the competition out the door
He’s the head and the tail; after and before

He is Alpha and Omega, the first and the last
The least and the greatest, both future and past
If we strive to be different; first or last we will fail!
For God is both the head and the tail!

DUST

One day man, in his pitiful ways,
Sat in the dust with a sorrowful face
He’s seen enough folly day in and out
And from within he let forth a shout:

“Oh God! Everything’s worthless as dust!” Said man
“But dust is what made you when the world began.”
“But everything we do is such wasted breath!”
“But breath is my gift of life, not death!”

The man felt no comfort in what was said
And sat waiting for God to leave him as dead
“The world is so twisted! And I blame you!
You claim you’re sovereign! What do you do?”

“You say that you’re love, ‘but the world is blind’
How can a loving God be so unkind?
The world is dying and is getting much worse
All because YOU bought on this curse!”

“It’s completely unbearable! What’s this all for?
It’s come to the point I can’t take any more!
What you gonna say and what will you do?
It’s about time that man got an answer from You!”

...

God let out a sigh and said, “Just so you know
My Answer came two thousand years ago
My perfection highlighted the state of man
My light exposed their sin stained hands.”

“For man cannot stand my righteousness
Nor tolerate love and deep tenderness
For sin tainted you to twist what is right
And manufacture darkness from my light”

“And while man fell to depths unbearable
I kept catching you, my love unshakeable
I give man pure grace while they ignore
The things I give them, what I do and more”

But they had no excuse when I came in flesh
Perfect in all things to show righteousness
But darkness couldn’t stand the light of God
So they broke my flesh and drank my blood

“But I am worthy as man to be raised from the dead
For the accuser, I bruised his serpent head
I’ve taken his position as mediator of man
And reconcile man to myself once again”

“This pain and turmoil that man still faces
Is given so that man may turn from wrong places
For if I did not limit my creation’s direction
Man’s sin would be worse in earth’s perfection”

“This perfect creation would be twisted by man
And be hundred times worse with his devious plans
I had to curse my creation so it will be
Not a tool to hurt others, you and Me”

“I know man’s thoughts and I know man’s ways
And I hate to see my image abused each day
For the glory that man strives to seek for his gain
Is never enough, and just adds to his pain”

“And I’ve given man pain to show something’s wrong:
Sin and death was man’s ally all along
It’s this partnership that’s destroying his make-up
So this pain is a gift so that man can wake up”

“To the truth that he is simply in need of me
Not his own ‘holiness’ and dignity
I created man to partner with me forever
Hand in hand in life together”

“Hear the calling of my Son and cry of my Spirit
Hear the groans of creation and everything in it
It yearns to be free as does man’s spirit too
So fall into my arms where I can catch You”

“Your testimony is over, you’ve reached your end
You’ve tried to find the greatest of friends
But all have forsaken you and you’re alone
You’re starting to see you're on your own.”

“Sin separates man and divides oneself
And sin makes your life a literal hell
Say ‘Yes!’ to my Spirit and watch my Son provide
The love that you need down deep inside”

“I’ll not take you from troubles, but you wont be alone
I’ll be with you in Spirit, make you feel at home
My Fountain’s within you and it shall flow
With faith, hope and love wherever you go”

“I have faith in you; hope in you and my love
Feel me shine down upon you from above
Walk in this assurance every single day
That I am with you no matter what way”

“You think, you act or the things that you speak
For I am your strength when You are weak
I’ve made you righteous, glorious and sinless too
For You’re born of my Spirit, through and through”

“You may look in the world and see it groaning
And buckle under your vessel that’s moaning
For all want to see the future glory at hand
I shall redeem both creation and man”

“We are made for eachother, and I wish to reveal
My glory in you as a soldier on field
So go through these birth pangs so that people can see
Me in you and you in Me”

“Hold everything sacred and dear to your heart
See me in everything in how I’m apart
Of making things new; turning bad to good
And know; like my Son, you’ll be misunderstood”

“I have given you everything you need to live in
Show the rest of the world what I have given
Minister to the world of man; do not fear it
Speak heart to heart and spirit to spirit”

“Don’t be overcome by man and death
My life is in you so speak my breath
I have now said enough, lest you sit hear and rust
So rise up and live, learn to value the dust”

DEPART FROM ME (SERPENT CROWN)

You who say are with me in everything you do
I see the sinful gods of Egypt, fully cover you
Don’t think that I’ve not noticed what you’ve come to be
Like Pharaoh and like Herod you want to kill me

I gave you grace and a chance to love me in the things that I provided
But when we bought the saints together, your mind became divided
Now you get drunk on the glory of saints and make my people serve you
Your pride forces men to be your slaves but they do not deserve you

You draw out the chords and condemn them and whip them into line
And declare that the God of the heaven’s has made you their agent divine
But the time is coming near, when people will see right through you
And my people will leave and do greater things and completely outdo you

You do mighty signs and miracles, on your own faith and not mine
You rely on manmade mammon and turn your own water to wine
It’s not in me you do these things, but your faith in other things
You’re relying on power not from me but on the Slave that enslaves kings

You raise your instrument to your lips and the crowds stand in awe
As the serpent rises from it’s basket and beckons you to play some more
Who does the crowd worship and adore? The serpent or it’s player?
Who is the one who is holding the crowd? The words or the soothsayer?

The people throw their gold, they feel blessed and good for the day
Both the serpent and it’s player; the secret partnerships is made
But you don’t know if you’re the player, or the serpent that packs the venom
The binds are a curse of both poison and lure, do you dare to work together?

You have silks and diamonds from the slaves with the serpent on your brow
But is it you or is it the serpents that aims for the glory now?
It seems you wield such authority on the stage and throne abound
But why is the serpent above you on your jewel encrusted crown?

Your soul cries out it’s never enough, and your desires cry out for more
None shall stand above you, so you order your image to walls
You place your image in the courtyards and hope people believe sincerely
That you are a righteous and wise-man who loves everyone so dearly

But you stifle the Promise to many; those that rise up you tear down
Your fear that the serpent may glorify them and that you may lose your crown
So you hypnotise and soothsay away to the masses who adore you
Changing the story ever so slightly so that man may bow down before you

For they are waiting for the God you promised, your ears perk to the sound of murmur
But at all costs you must stay on top as you admirably justify murder
Now you murder the firstborn but declare to all you’re doing this in love
But you are inwardly consumed by your growing fears that one shall arise above

The masses are confused but blindly trust in the one who they’re taught to submit to
They fast and they pray to a God far away; as religion makes God hard to get to
But lo and behold, you strike up the music, a triumphant message you bring
You’ve now discovered, your not fully human, but both God, man and king

The serpent sparkles upon your brow, the phylacteries smile in your radiance
The jewels on your gown worship you as man bows down to your presence
Wherever you go, whatever you do the laws say that man must extol you
But as you head to the skies and look down at your flock, the Prince of the Air controls you

You stopped your heart long ago and your mind was the last to leave
As the serpent looked down from upon your crown, it’s poison made you deceived
For while you slept with the beast on your head, it dripped poison from it’s fangs to your ear
You surrendered your life to the things that are dead, your conscience completely seared

The rolls have reversed, you thought you’re the player, but you’ve become the serpent
You became what you thought you wont be and now, you wear the scales of the servant
He came as the snake but was playing to you with the he fruit he held in his hand
You partnered with him to be greater then me, but he robbed you for all that you had

That serpent has been with man since the dawn of time and fell the same way as you
He’s a friend to kings and rulers of such, and attempts to have them subdued
He flatters man with gold and sky-born flattery, and tempts them with the divine
For man naturally wants a redeemer in flesh; put their faith in the things that die

But the serpent wants man to have faith in man’s image, the glorious image of self
Intertwined with religion and spiritual things and the fallen creation itself
While we deny the serpent or accept his offer, he cares not for your self-seeking fame
He’ll bring you to ruin as he uses you to give himself a glorious name

What’s fallen is his as he chose to be greater and separate from me from the beginning
He’s blinded himself to the pride that he has in believing against me he’s winning
He chose to be separate from truth and life, and from love, faith and hope itself
All things from me, he chose to reject and be greater then me in this world

That’s why he was cast and down and commanded to crawl, as he usurped my gift to man
Dust is what he eats and speaks to the kings who make themselves salvation’s plan
Wisdom’s from me and folly’s from him but he works best as the master of mimicry
He’ll undermine the greatest of kings, unless that king is subjected to me

There is but one God, yet the serpent makes many to obtain the worship he desires
He hungers for glory but depraved of it, so he continually plans to aspire
To rule the world that’s truly not his, he does not have the power to create it
His power’s destruction, lust and murder; what’s mine: he truly does hate it

But you bow to his person when you seek for yourself a name that’s above other names
And he’ll come to you in the subtlest of ways so he can usurp your fame
For whenever man exalts himself, the trail of the serpent follows
And whatever glory you achieve, the light masquerader swallows!

For he’s spread across the earth under many different names and forms
But he’s worshipped as serpent in various faiths; so bow to him no more!
…

Those who fellowship with him, I say here’ by, ‘not mine’
As for those who know my name but then choose to dine
With the one who opposes all the things that I say and do
I say ‘Depart from me and go with him, I do not know you’!

When He came to us in love?

He is God of righteous works!

See the mountains melt before Him!
