IT IS I (Isaiah 63:1-6)

Who is this who comes, with his clothes stained red?
Who is this in royal robes, marching in strength?
Why are you clothed as though treading the vine?
Who stains their garments with blood-like wine?

‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Announcing your salvation’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Who has the power to save’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Announcing your salvation’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Who has the power to save’
‘I save!’

Who is this who comes riding glory in the sky?
Who is this who comes, with a fire in His eyes?
Why have you opened the heavens so abroad
And in fiery judgment speak sharp razor swords?

‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Announcing your salvation’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Who has the power to save’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Announcing your salvation’
‘It is I,’ says the Lord, ‘Who has the power to save’
‘I save!’

‘I tread the winepress alone
‘And trample all my foes
‘Their blood has stained my clothes
‘As I crush them through my toes’
