THE SLANDER CLAUS SONG

He’s an icon of wealth, an icon of greed
Giving us things that we don’t need
Santa Claus is coming to town…

Elf demons help him, He flies through the sky
Living upon this great Western Lie:
Santa Claus is coming to town…

He knows when you’re sleeping
Stalks you when you’re awake
He doesn’t care if you’re bad or good
Just be rich for goodness sake!

He’s sold his own soul, responding to cash
Storing our greed in his Santa bag stash
Santa Claus is coming to town…

He’s making a list and checking to see
Kids to spoil in rich families
Santa Claus is coming to town…

He holds your little children
They sit upon his lap
You only see the good of him
Not what goes behind the back

He has a big laugh; he’s got a big grin
Indulging us in our gluttonous sin
Santa Claus is coming to town…

With a corporate fist and his material vice
He lives for those who lives in his lies,
Santa Claus is coming to town…

He makes you so self-centered
Always giving to your needs
He breaks into your house at night
Always looking for a feed

So! You better watch out! You better think twice!
He's never cared about who’s naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town…

Cos he’s checking his list, checking it twice
Who’s caught in his deceptive device?
Santa Claus is coming to town…

He doesn’t care about the hungry
The poor or the oppressed
But he cares that you are feeling good
Like a pig in it’s own mess

So! You better watch out! You better think twice!
He's never cared about who’s naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town…
